Wave Front – Your Beachfront Escape

Discover Wave Front, a beautifully designed beachfront retreat where Tasmania's spectacular east coast becomes your backyard.

Positioned directly on the pristine sands of Sandpiper Surf Beach in the peaceful coastal community of Swanwick, just five minutes from the charming village of Coles Bay, this thoughtfully designed holiday home proves that the best escapes aren't measured in square metres, they're measured by the moments they create.

Wake to the gentle rhythm of waves rolling onto the shore, breathe in the crisp salt air, and wander down the sandy pathway through the dunes to the beach before breakfast. Here, mornings begin with a spectacular sunrise, and evenings end beneath a sky filled with stars and the soothing soundtrack of the ocean.

Perfectly positioned at the gateway to Freycinet National Park, Wave Front places one of Australia's most celebrated natural landscapes within easy reach while offering the privacy and tranquillity of an absolute beachfront setting.

Designed for comfort and connection, the home features two inviting bedrooms, accommodating up to six guests. Every space has been carefully planned to feel welcoming, functional, and effortlessly relaxed, making it equally suited to couples seeking a romantic retreat or families creating holiday memories on the coast.

At the heart of the home, the light-filled open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area brings everyone together. Prepare a leisurely breakfast before exploring the Freycinet Peninsula, enjoy long lunches featuring fresh Tasmanian produce, or gather in the evening over local seafood and award-winning cool-climate wines as the sun disappears beyond the dunes.

Large glass doors blur the line between indoors and out, opening onto an inviting outdoor space where life naturally slows down. Sip your morning coffee while watching the waves, stretch out with a good book in the afternoon sunshine, or spend warm evenings sharing stories beneath a sky scattered with stars.

A quiet path leads directly from the property to Sandpiper Beach, inviting barefoot walks along the shoreline, refreshing swims, paddleboarding, surfing, beachcombing, or simply sitting at the water's edge as the tides come and go.

Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to ensure an effortless stay. Guests enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, private parking, a fully equipped laundry, premium furnishings, outdoor seating, and modern comforts that make Wave Front a welcoming destination throughout every season.

Travelling with a larger group? You can book this property together with Beach Break, which comfortably accommodates an additional ten guests, making it the perfect option for extended families or groups of friends.

Beyond your doorstep lies one of Tasmania's most remarkable coastal playgrounds. Wander the iconic walking trails of Freycinet National Park, discover secluded white-sand beaches and crystal-clear bays, paddle beneath towering granite cliffs, or cruise the pristine coastline. Visit nearby cellar doors, savour fresh local seafood, or simply embrace the slower rhythm that makes Tasmania's east coast so unforgettable.

Wave Front is more than a place to stay. It's where barefoot mornings begin on the beach, afternoons are shaped by the tides, and every day is framed by the breathtaking beauty of Tasmania's iconic coastline. Small in footprint, yet immense in experience, it is a place you'll remember long after you've left.
