The spacious open-plan living area has been designed to take full advantage of the home’s elevated position, with large windows drawing your attention towards Frankton Arm and the dramatic peaks of The Remarkables.

The lounge provides a welcoming place for everyone to come together after a day exploring Queenstown. Settle in beside the fireplace on a cool evening, enjoy a movie together, or simply sit back and take in the changing colours across the lake and mountains.

Central heating and air conditioning keep the home comfortable throughout Queenstown’s changing seasons, making Alpine Horizon equally inviting for a winter ski holiday or a summer escape.

At the heart of the home is a contemporary open-plan kitchen and dining area designed for easy holiday living.

The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from quick breakfasts before heading into the mountains to relaxed dinners enjoyed together at home. Generous preparation space makes cooking for the group comfortable, while the open layout keeps whoever is in the kitchen connected with the dining and living areas.

➤ Access & Parking

Alpine Horizon offers convenient on-site parking for up to 2 cars.

The parking space directly in front of the house is the primary parking space and should be used whenever possible.

If your group is travelling with a second car, one side of the garage is available as an additional parking space.

Please note that the owner’s vehicle is securely stored on the other side of the garage. We kindly ask guests using the garage to take extra care when entering and exiting, and when moving luggage, ski equipment or other belongings around the vehicle.

All guest cars must be parked within the property rather than on the street.

➤ Surrounding Construction

Please be aware that Alpine Horizon is located within a developing residential neighbourhood, and construction is currently taking place on some surrounding properties.

As a brand-new home built to modern standards, the property has high-quality insulation and glazing, which helps significantly reduce external noise when doors and windows are closed.

However, the perception of noise is subjective, and some guests may be more sensitive than others. Depending on the construction activity taking place during your stay, some daytime noise may still be noticeable.

Construction schedules and activity levels are outside our control, so we want to make sure guests are aware of the surrounding development before booking.

➤ Noise Monitoring System

All of our properties are equipped with a noise monitoring system that continuously tracks noise levels without recording audio or conversations and promptly alerts the property manager if noise exceeds permissible limits.

This system assesses decibel levels across the property, solely focusing on sound intensity without recording or eavesdropping, ensuring no collection, storage or sharing of personal conversations or information occurs.

➤ Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are 10pm–8am.

Outdoor areas must be vacated between 10pm and 7am, and no amplified outdoor music or sound is permitted between 8pm and 8am.

We kindly ask all guests to respect our neighbours and the residential nature of the area.

We do not accept bookings for parties or functions.
