Inspired by the timeless charm of early miners’ cottages, The Soho blends rustic character with refined modern living. This beautifully designed three-bedroom holiday home captures the spirit of Central Otago’s heritage while offering a luxurious and comfortable retreat.

Clad in corrugated corten steel and warm timber, the exterior pays homage to the historic cabins once scattered throughout the Cardrona Valley. Step inside, however, and you’ll find a home that feels bright, contemporary, and welcoming. At the heart of the home is a spacious open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area, designed for relaxing and gathering with family or friends. Clean architectural lines, modern finishes, and carefully chosen materials create a warm yet sophisticated atmosphere.

Large glass doors and generous windows flood the interior with natural light and seamlessly connect the living spaces to the outdoors. Step out to the courtyard to enjoy summer evenings, or take in the crisp alpine air and mountain views in winter, this home is designed to make the most of its spectacular surroundings.

Whether you’re looking for a peaceful escape or a base for adventure, The Soho offers the perfect balance of style, comfort, and location. Just a 20-minute drive from Wanaka, you’ll enjoy easy access to the lake, restaurants, and outdoor activities while still experiencing the quiet beauty of the Cardrona alpine landscape.

All guests are welcome to take full advantage of the exceptional facilities on-site at the Homestead, including hot pools, sauna, and ice bath for relaxation, plus a fully equipped gym to keep up your fitness routine during your stay. Guests also enjoy exclusive access to private hiking and biking trails across 400 hectares of pristine high-country terrain.
